The Caring Place provides many services to cancer survivors, caregivers, patients, and anyone touched by cancer. Services include classes like yoga, meditation, and crafts to massage therapy, exercise classes, to support groups for cancer and emotional support. It is open to both children and adults.
Cancer is a life-changing disease that takes a tremendous physical and emotional toll on those affected. The Y and the LIVESTRONG foundation have joined together to create LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a research-based physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors reclaim their total health.

The Nevada Cancer Coalition is an organization partially funded from a Nevada State grant. It provides a wealth of information connected with cancer such as the state epidemiology office, state cancer control plan, cancer news, resources, various private and public organizations associated with cancer in Nevada.

The State of Nevada’s Comprehensive Cancer Control Program works towards bringing together communities and partner organizations who strive to reduce the burden of cancer in Nevada by combining efforts to:

2.Find cancers earlier
